About Us
CRL's business:
CRL is in the business of developing IP in all core and enabling technology areas
pertaining to HPC. Its business models include (a) one-time sale of IP, (b) licensing IP
on a fixed price and/or recurring royalty basis and (c) spinning out companies which
will use this IP as the core technology to develop and sell products, services and
solutions.
CRL's vision:
To build and sustain a dominant world leadership in all technologies pertaining to
High-Performance Computing.
Mission:
To develop cutting-edge IP in all core & enabling technology areas pertaining to HPC
and use this IP to radically transform all industries that can benefit from this IP.
Brief history of the company:
The company has been started by some like-minded friends who are alumni of IIT
Bombay. The company has been founded on the basis of some pathbreaking ideas
and is funded and otherwise supported by the Tata Group. The company was
established in July 2006.
